			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>On October 21, 2008, the <a href="http://www.ucscoop.com/" target="_blank">United Community Services Co-op</a> celebrated its first 10 years with a special event at the Roundhouse Community Centre in Vancouver.  The event, entitled <em><a href="http://www.ucscoop.com/10" target="_blank">T</a><a href="http://www.ucscoop.com/10" target="_blank">he Perspective at 10</a></em>, was about the unique perspective that the Co-op has brought to the business of non-profit and community organizations and how that perspective has shaped our collective view of the next 10 years for communities across the Province of British Columbia.  The Co-op invited Tamara Vrooman, CEO of Vancity Credit Union to share her own perspective of the next 10 years as the keynote.  Virginia Greene, President and CEO of the Business Council of BC, as well as Cairine MacDonald, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Housing and Social Development provided their perspectives in response as part of a panel of distinguished guests.   This is a podcast of the question and answer period that followed the speeches.
